A great vac for an awesome price! February 14, 2005 Reviewer:  krista (Sunny Arizona)  See all my reviews >

This is my third eureka stick vac (this specific model)and I love them! Bought one for my old house, my mom's house and my new house and if you have as much tile as I do, this is the thing to buy! I have small children and often vacuum once a day and this saves lots of time--only downfall is the cord is VERY short-as one reviewer said get an extension cord--nothing is perfect. I would recommend this vac for hard surface floors-I use my larger vac for my small area of carpeting--this thing is awesome!!

I bought this for quick cleanups. We have mostly wood laminate and tile floors. I got tired of sweeping with a broom and getting under couches, chairs, etc. This wasn't bought to replace my vac, but much to my surprise, this little diddy turned out to be quite powerful and light. My cleaning lady won't use anything else. It sits out all the time as we are constantly grabbing it for cleanups. It is great for stairs, corners, and under things. It has two settings, one for floors and one for carpets. We use the high setting most of the time and it really works great. I did as other reviewers suggested and bought a longer extension cord to attach to it so it would go all around the rooms without constantly changing plus. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I got this three years ago as a christmas gift. This is one of the best vaccums ever possible. Its so easy and light weight, i use more then the bigger vaccums, i love that it goes from tile to wood to carpet. It emptys easy, and easy to move. I even use this on one of the heavier carpets not just the berber! Love this little guy, The no problems with this one!!!! If you have tile or wood floor go and hunt and buy this one!!!

Not on my watch, buster! December 18, 2004 Reviewer:  Nancy Cook (South Carolina)  See all my reviews >

Well, here's the story. I bought this vacuum and ran it over my carpet, and I was joyfull, right? NOOOOOOOOOOO! Hey, if you think that Bissel vacuum is crap, wait, just wait till you see this one! If Target would let me set zero stars, I would be glad to do it! This guy also has a short cord! (I think it's short cord should go into the world records!) It is also a machine that weighs a ton! And the price! Whoo, I don't even want to talk about that!!! When you want cleanliness, and if you see a vacuum you want, I want you to remember this question: Why can't they make a powerful vacuum that doesn't weigh a ton and doesn't cost a furtone?!

Does the job and does it right! May 3, 2004 Reviewer:  Carla (St. Louis, MO)  See all my reviews >

This is a perfect, quick broom-vac for frequent easy cleanings. It’s so tiny, versatile, and inexpensive, that everyone should own one.

This powerful broom vacuum does a great job on our floors and area rugs. The beater bar easily picks up the hair from our shorthaired dog, as well as my long hair. The small head allows you to get under objects that you never could with a full size vacuum. The filter is easy to clean with a quick tap and rinse. And you can also turn the beater bar off for floor cleaning.

I own a noisy full-size Dirt Devil vacuum that I purchased in college. After moving out of a wall-to-wall carpeted apartment into a hardwood floor house I found it tiresome to vacuum the area rugs and then sweep the floor areas with a broom. You may ask why I didn't just use the vacuum on the whole house. Well, I found that the beater bar on my full-size vacuum was rough on the hardwood floors. And since I didn't have the option of turning off the beater bar, my only option was an old-fashioned broom.

So when my husband and I had the opportunity to register for our wedding, we thought we would try a smaller vacuum. One gift, one year and one dog later, we still own the vacuum and love it!

My only negative comment about this vacuum is the hard to use dust cup button. I have found it difficult to pull the button into an open position to remove and replace the dust cup. But considering that my full size vacuum hasn't left the closest for over a year, the button is only a minor flaw.

You should keep in mind; this is a broom-vac, which is meant to take the place of your broom, not a full size vacuum. I love this for my hardwood floors and area rugs, but I do not think it would perform as well on wall-to-wall carpet. Also keep in mind; if this vacuum broke today, I would instantly buy another one tomorrow!

This vaccuum sucks June 6, 2004 Reviewer:  Tanis (Salem, MA)  See all my reviews >

F - Waste of money, this product is not recommended. I bought it four months ago, and it is now broken - it just suddenly stopped working, and has no more suction power whatsoever. The suction never really was very powerful at all. The beater needed to be cleaned every time it was used, as did the cup, and it was very messy to deal with, as well as a very good way to get my allergy-induced asthma to flare up as the dust and dirt from in the cup would fly up as soon as it was lifted from the chamber. I would go the extra few miles in terms of money to purchase something that does its job, is reliable, and will last for a couple years at least. Hopefully Target.com will be good enough to refund my money, as this should not have happened.

GREAT VACUUM December 9, 2004 Reviewer:  J. RODRIGUEZ Real Name (Woodside, NY)  See all my reviews >

I purchased my vacuum at a bargain store for much less than the advertised price here. I had to buy it. The suction is stronger than i thought. It actually lifts my carpet up while vacuuming. I love that i can use it for carpets and bare floors. It left my new carpet looking like when i bought it on thanksgiving day and the filter was jammed with dirt! Good bye broom, hello eureka! Cord is a little short..i do half the room and then switch plugs or i just add an extension..its not even an issue! I recommend this!

A little vacuum that can do a big job! August 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Savannah (Texas)  See all my reviews >

It's great for what it was designed for, quick clean ups and sweeping! Certainly if you want a really deep clean or if you have a lot of heavy debris on the floor, you should use a regular vacuum. This vacuum is excellent for everyday cleaning.

I find this vacuum cleaner indispensable in my house. Instead of using a broom on the bare floors, I use this vacuum, and it works great! It cleans up so much better than a broom can and is much easier than sweeping. I use it on my area rug and carpeted areas as well, and it picks up debris and dirt nicely. Since it's small it's very manueverable and can get in tight spaces (like around the coffee table), and since it's lightweight, it won't give you a backache! I love it!

Eh. July 11, 2004 Reviewer:  Tara Meddaugh (Pittsburgh, PA)  See all my reviews >

Granted, this vacuum is very cute and light, but it did NOT suck up dirt in my carpet very well at all. I had to go over and over the same spot and it still did not pick up simple little specks. My dust buster worked better than this! I would not recommend this as a regular vacuum cleaner...perhaps as a 'trophy vacuum,' as it's cute and all, but really--I don't need a vacuum cleaner as a decoration. I need it to work.

Excellent for quick clean-ups :-) October 5, 2006 Reviewer:  kranberry (Columbus, OH)  See all my reviews >

Bought two of these little stickbrooms over two years ago and they have served their purpose well. Great little machines for small jobs and small areas. The one downstairs died from oveuse . . .kitchen, front entry, kitchen, litter box area, kitchen, kitchen. Buying another one to replace it!
